"We had an excellent holiday which was very well organised. The walks were well mapped and described in the booklets and your staff were easy to contact and helpful whenever we rang. . We will certainly think about using S-Cape next year for our holidays"
Attibas Hotel was especially nice
We loved Vera, the taxi driver. We only saw her once in the end but she was very entertaining and helpful. Would have preferred to have stayed at the Sintra Jardim for the first 4 nights. It was gorgeous.
I thought the app and the route instructions were excellent.

Excepcional Jose Francisco.

The trip was great, but i would suggest to make it more clear that the second and third day are very difficult if you don't have a good fitness condition. My impression was that despite the fact that we do more than 10h of sport every week these 2 days challenged us, however, we really like every single day of the trip with sun, wind or rain.

S-Cape provides amazing value for the money. And the luggage transfers are easier than I thought they would be! It was also so helpful that the places we stayed all knew how it worked so they were able to give us information as well! This was the first half of our honeymoon and it was awesome! Great, challenging routes and beautiful weather! Thank you S-Cape team!

We’re three days back at home and still in the atmosphere of the Picos hike.
It was a wonderful time and we enjoyed it very much. The beautiful nature, the hotels ( each with its own identity), refugio Urriellu and the beaches in Llanes.
Hotel Picos de Europa, Hostel Remona and Hotel Don Paco were really excellent!
Thanks a lot for your flexibility to adjust our wishes at short notice during the hike. Muchas gracias!
We’ll be back in the Picos one day. Hasta luego!

We were a group of 10 gentlemen aged between 60 and 70, level of difficulty was fine for us. On a couple of occasions group members wanting a day off jumped into the taxi transferring our luggage, this worked well.
The whole trip was excellentThe Guibo maps and App worked well, we didn't get lost at all. Our taxi transfers to/from the airport and to the start of our walk on one day also worked well.

Walks were rather short and easy so we added our own ideas and extended them. All hotels were great and good in different ways.

We're experienced mountain trekkers so had a good idea what to expect. and it was great walking. We would have loved to split the 2nd day, from Vegarredonda to Vegabaño as it took us 11 hours; we didn't get lost, but were very slow on more tricky parts of the walk, being older and rather slower.
We really liked Hotel Remoña in Espinama, being family-run; the food and atmosphere there were excellent. In Arenas de Cabrales, we much preferred Hotel Villa de Cabrales to La Rivera as the breakfasts were really good and the breakfast team of women worked really well (and apparently happily) together.
We couldn't fault S-Cape, providing excellent information beforehand and en route. Plus having to arrange transfers for us because of the Cares Gorge closure. All the taxi drivers were friendly, helpful and on-time. Huge thanks.

The level of difficulty was explained for each walk and we felt well-prepared. The walks were thoughtfully varied and so over the week we felt that we had seen a full range of different environments. The walk from Santana to Arc de Sao Jorge was less varied than others. Lots of walking through outskirts of town and village on roads, but not seeing village centres was not as good as the other days. It is obviously Caminho Real, but not our favourite.
The accommodation in both centres was very good and helpful. O Como were especially helpful allowing us to use pool and showers when we had an evening flight. However, the stars of the week were the taxi drivers. They were helpful, reliable and knowledgeable, particularly Dani and his wife who were brilliant and predicted variations, and helped us pack in Pico Ruivo on last day.
Excellent holiday, just what we needed, very well organised but allowed us to go at our pace.
